As a formally trained photojournalist I have spent the last 8 years as a photographer for the Chicago Sun-Times Media Group. In April of 2011, due to the success of my wedding business, Day1weddings, I decided to walk away from my position as a staff photographer; allowing me to dedicate myself fully to creating timeless images for my clients. Through my training at the paper I was taught to capture moments and more importantly the moments in-between. I have continued that passion of finding moments and creating unique portraits at Day1weddings as well as for my commercial and corporate clients. My approach moving forward, in colliboration with my clients, is to create timeless art that you can be excited to display for years to come.
